But You Might Ask: What Kinds Of Implants Are There?
We Have Your Answer:
The Two Primary Kinds Of Implants Are Strategic Implants and Conventional Implants
STRATEGIC IMPLANTS
Strategic dental implants, also referred to as basal implants for immediate dental treatment, utilize the cortical or basal part of the jawbone to anchor the implant in place.
These implants consist of a single piece of non-corrosive, biocompatible titanium alloy, specifically designed to fit seamlessly within the cortical gap for maximum stability.
Who Should Go For Strategic/Basal Implants?
Strategic implants are an excellent option for patients with missing teeth, severe jaw atrophy or periodontal disease. Our basal implants are designed to replace missing teeth in just 72 hours, making them an ideal permanent solution for missing teeth, for those who need immediate dental treatment.
If you are lacking teeth or are a smoker or diabetic, you are also a good candidate for basal implants. Additionally, basal implants are the perfect choice for patients with major structural bone loss in the jaw.
If you require a single tooth replacement, multiple tooth replacement or full mouth rehabilitation, our basal implants are an excellent option for restoring your smile. Trust our team of experienced dental professionals to provide you with the best treatment plan for your unique needs.
What Is The Success Rate Of Basal Implants?
Experience the benefits of our basal implants, which have a 98% success rate – higher than traditional dental implants – and a lower risk of complications. This makes basal implants a minimally invasive dental treatment with minimal risk.
With fewer stages of treatment, basal implants can also be less expensive than conventional implants, allowing for a complete dental treatment in fewer visits.
How Long Do Basal Implants Last?
Our basal implants are designed to last a lifetime, mimicking the look, shape, and feel of your natural teeth for a flawless smile.
Pain-Free Implants:
At our clinic, basal implants are painlessly installed after expertly administered local anaesthesia via cartridge syringes, ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients.
Post-Operative Care For Basal Implants:

CONVENTIONAL IMPLANTS
While many modern clinics have moved away from conventional implant systems, at Shaad Aesthetics, we continue to offer this tried-and-true technique with great success.
Conventional implants consist of two pieces: a root component and a tooth component. They require extra care during tooth removal and dental implant placement.
The implant is placed in the jaw bone and covered with a cover screw or healing cap. A waiting period of two to three months is necessary for the bone to firmly adhere to the implant surface, providing good stability. Once stability is confirmed, the abutment (tooth component) is attached, and an impression is made for crown fixation. In just three more days, the crown is fixed, and the implant process is complete.
Single Tooth Replacement
Extraction
Our skilled dentists perform tooth extraction and immediate dental implant placement with a cover screw or healing cap, allowing for potential immediate loading. After a healing period of 3-4 months, we take impressions and fix the crown in just 2-3 days.
Our experts ensure optimal stability and precision with every dental implant placement, guaranteeing a comfortable and effective solution for all our patients.
Missing Tooth
The initial step in the procedure is to create and peel back gum flaps to expose the jawbone after achieving complete anaesthetic effect. Then, a hole is drilled into the jawbone to make room for the implant and it is inserted.
A temporary healing cap is screwed into the top of the implant and a few sutures are placed to hold the gum tissue in place. The sutures will be removed in seven to ten days.
After a healing period of 3-4 months, an impression is made and the crown is fixed in just 2-3 days.
Multiple Teeth Replacement
Dental implants can be a great solution for those who are missing several teeth or need to replace multiple teeth. Not only do they look and function like natural teeth, but they can also replace the roots of the missing teeth.
Unlike other tooth replacement options, such as bridges, dental implants don’t rely on support from adjacent natural teeth. This means that they can be a more reliable and long-lasting solution for those who need to replace multiple teeth.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation
The key concepts behind full mouth implant treatment include the following:
All On 4
After tooth extraction, four implants are immediately placed in each jaw – upper and lower. Immediate loading can be done if the implant is stable, and crowns can be fixed within a week. Otherwise, a waiting period of 3-4 months is given, and an impression is made for the permanent crown. It is then fixed within three days.
All On 6
After the extraction of teeth, typically six implants are placed in both upper and lower jaws. The implants’ stability determines whether immediate loading is feasible, and crowns can be fitted within a week. Alternatively, a healing period of 3-4 months is given before making impressions for permanent crowns, which can be fixed within three days.
All On 8
The placement of 8 implants per jaw is done with or without extraction, only for teeth that are not decayed or missing. After three months of healing and achieving good implant stability, an impression is taken for the permanent crown, which can be fixed in just three days.
